Drive through the central
highlands and drop into the Great Rift Valley arriving at Sekenani gate by the
afternoon. Your lunch will be in Narok town enroute to your 3 days shared
safari. Check in at the Miti Mingi /Enkorok tented camp on a shared room basis.
Go for an evening game drive in the park and start your first game drive to

Masai Mara Game Reserve

mara shared camping safari is a full-day game drive day. You will wake up to a sumptuous
buffet breakfast and depart at 0630hrs for a full day game drive crossing the
full expanse of the mara.
This is your best day to view as
many wildlife as you can including the all the big five and the ugly five as
well. From your camp located on the southern east end of the game reserve, you
will drive northwestwards towards river mara with enroute game drives. Watch
the thousands of gazelles on the plains, the hundreds of elephants and buffalos
and the tens of lion prides.
The early morning game drive is
the best chance to see all the game, as they are most active in these cool temperatures
at dawn. Its however chilly and you will need to come with some warm jacket or
a kikoi shawl. Watch the lone leopard walking along the game drive tracks
parallel to your vehicle or the lioness stalking some impala from the road.
Drive up to Mara River and if the
wildebeest migration is in season, watch the mara river crossing in the thousands.
It is quite a sight to watch the millions of wildebeest as they jostle and
fight to be the first into the water. Watch the crocodiles and the hippos as
they swim in the waters of this river.
